Day 2: Drive to Pokhara

Scenic drive to Pokhara.

After breakfast, begin a scenic journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara, traveling along winding highways that follow the Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers. The drive passes through picturesque countryside, terraced farmland, rolling hills, and traditional villages, offering a glimpse into rural life in Nepal.

Day 3: Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Ghandruk

Begin the Annapurna adventure.

After breakfast, drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, the starting point of the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The short drive passes through beautiful countryside, small settlements, and scenic landscapes before reaching the trailhead.

From Nayapul, begin trekking through terraced farmlands, lush hillsides, and traditional villages. The trail gradually ascends through stone-paved paths and cultivated fields, offering beautiful views of the surrounding hills and rural landscapes.

Day 4: Trek to Chhomrong

Trek through beautiful villages.

After breakfast, leave Ghandruk and continue trekking through beautiful rhododendron and oak forests, passing traditional settlements and terraced farmland along the way. The trail offers a combination of gentle ascents and descents while providing excellent opportunities to experience the local culture and mountain lifestyle.

Day 5: Trek to Dovan

Enter the bamboo forests

Today's trek begins with a descent from Chhomrong to the Chhomrong Khola, crossing a suspension bridge over the rushing river below. After crossing the river, the trail climbs steadily through beautiful rhododendron, bamboo, and oak forests, offering a peaceful atmosphere and refreshing mountain surroundings.

As you ascend deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary, the route passes through small settlements, waterfalls, and dense woodland rich in natural beauty. The trail gradually gains elevation while providing occasional glimpses of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.

Continuing through the forested landscape, you will reach the quiet settlement of Dovan, situated beside the Modi Khola. Surrounded by lush forests and towering cliffs, Dovan provides a peaceful resting place before continuing toward the higher alpine regions of the Annapurna Base Camp Trek.

Day 6: Trek to Deurali

Climb through alpine landscapes.

Day 7: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp

Reach Annapurna Base Camp.

Day 8: Trek to Bamboo

Begin the descent.
